AVPUNKNOWN/AVPU/XMX Server Rules & Guidelines

Joining our servers implies accepting these rules, including all further amendments made to them. An announcement will be made in the Discord server to call out changes. It’s the responsibility of the players to stay up to date with the set of rules and guidelines listed below.

Respect for Fellow Players

In any competitive environment, respect for both the game and its players is essential. True sportsmanship is measured not just by skill, but by how you treat those who stand against you. Every player friend, rival, or opponent helps build the spirit of the community. If you love the game, respect those who share that passion.

We recognize that heated moments, rivalries, and internal "beef" are natural in any thriving gaming scene. Healthy competition adds energy but there are lines that must never be crossed.
Threats of violence, including death threats, are absolutely unacceptable.
Such behaviour will result in a minimum one-month suspension, with repeat or severe offenses leading to permanent bans.
Let’s build a community where players push each other to be better not tear each other down.

Glitch and Misconduct Policy

We understand that glitches can sometimes occur unintentionally. However, when deliberately exploited, they harm the integrity of the game. To ensure fair and enjoyable gameplay, we classify glitches into two categories:

• Hostile Glitches: Examples include the "Tree Glitch" "Corner Glitch" "Rapid Disc Glitch" "Thunder Glitch" And "Sniper Glitch" These exploits are strictly forbidden on all servers, including ALL OUT SERVERS.
  
  
• Non-Hostile Glitches/Trolling: Actions that disrupt gameplay or harm teammates, such as team-killing or trolling, also fall under misconduct and will be punished accordingly.
  
  Permitted Glitches

  We offer two servers where all the chaos, the war, the annihilation is allowed (except hacking). Only report if you witness a hacker or cheater! glitching is permitted in this environment... Proceed at your own risk. These servers embraces chaos.. consider this your only warning, And Remember... Whoever Wins...We Lose

  |XMX| STDM - Brutal Chaos |UK| & |XMX| MSTDM - Brutal Chaos |UK| is the name of the server. It is designed for total freedom and unrestrained combat.

Additional Misconduct:

• Flaming, harassment, or death threats typically result in temporary suspensions.
• Use of extreme language (e.g., references to rape or attacks on someone's family) will lead to a minimum one-month ban.
• Severe cases may result in permanent bans.

No Hacking Policy

Any form of hacking including speed hacks, aimbots, ammo manipulation, or obvious cheating will result in an immediate permanent ban.
When reporting suspected cheaters, please provide video evidence and a link to their Steam account to ensure fast and effective action. #report-a-hacker (Within AVP2010 Discord)

Name Stealing, Impersonation, and Doxing Policy

We operate under a strict zero tolerance policy for name stealing, impersonation, and doxing.
Impersonating server staff, affiliated individuals, or notable players including misuse of clan tags is forbidden and will result in an immediate, permanent ban with no warnings, no appeals, and no second chances.
Doxing the act of sharing real names, addresses, phone numbers, or other personal information is equally prohibited and will be met with the same severity.

Player Griefing

Deliberately sabotaging your teammates whether through purposeful team damage, obstruction, or any other disruptive behaviour is equally unacceptable.
Players found engaging in griefing will face immediate disciplinary action, typically beginning with an automatic kick from the server. Repeated or extreme cases of griefing may result in further penalties, including temporary or permanent bans depending on severity.
Acts of personal harassment, sabotage, or targeted abuse have no place here.
If you witness instances of doxing, griefing, or any other major violations, please report them directly to the Server Staff with as much detail as possible.

Ban Policy and Enforcement

Our stance on bans is absolute: when disciplinary action is taken, it is done to protect the integrity of the community and the quality of gameplay for everyone.
We enforce our policies firmly and consistently across all platforms.

• Ban Management:
  
  A ban issued on any AVP UNKNOWN, AVPU, or XMX server will be applied universally across all associated servers.
  Bans are shared system-wide a ban anywhere is a ban everywhere.
  Due to the increasing volume of server attacks from family-shared Steam accounts, access via family sharing is now permanently disabled. Only main (purchasing) accounts may access the AVP 2010 servers.
  
  
• Ban Evasion:
  
  Any player caught attempting to circumvent a ban whether through alternate accounts, VPNs, or other means will have all associated new accounts immediately and permanently banned. Ban evasion confirms the validity of the original punishment and escalates future actions. There are no second chances for ban evasion.
  
  
• Ban Appeals:
  
  If you genuinely believe your ban was issued in error or was disproportionately severe, you may file an appeal through official channels. Appeals are reviewed exclusively by AVPUNKNOWN STAFF. Decisions are final, though we will lift bans if a clear mistake is found.

Network Server Attack Policy

The security and stability of our AVP network infrastructure are paramount. Any attempt to disrupt or compromise server operations will be met with immediate and permanent consequences.
This includes Denial-of-Service (DoS), Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS), or any credible threat or attempt to initiate them. Lifetime bans apply across all associated servers and services with no warnings or second chances. Repeated incidents will trigger a formal ongoing investigation.

Rules will be updated over time if needed.
